Senior Test Analyst

Central Europe Technologies (CET) is an expertise Shared Service Center for BNP Paribas Group, subsidiaries serving 19 countries and we are continuously expanding.
Our offices are located in Romania, in Bucharest, Brasov and Cluj. The company brings together over 300 employees, with expertise in various technologies (Java, .Net, COBOL) and other operational roles (credit analysts, collection officers, System Expert administrators).

What you need to have

• Communication (production of test report, lessons learnt, training documents...)
• English language, French or German considered a plus
• Development in Cobol
• Development in Java using IDE like Eclipse or IntelliJ (considered a plus)
• Minimum University degree
• Minimum 3-6 years experienced in Testing and/or Cobol development
• Experience in Credit functional domains would be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level information around CET testing services catalog
• Explain the test sizing test and describe test approach, in particular in Agile projects, where the test analyst is responsible of the quality within the squad and will have to explain it to the product owner and to the squad team in general
• Alert the test lead or the product owner (in Agile projects) on potential issues and propose solution to solve the issues
• Produce reporting/KPI for test progress and Closure using testing tools like HP OCTANE
• Define Test strategy for the sprint in Agile projects
• Perform effort estimation regarding testing activities, by using abacus
• Understand functional requirements, use cases or user stories
• Create traceability between requirements, user stories and test cases
• Define test data needs
• Define test cases, whether in natural language or in Gherkins language (for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) approach) using testing tools like HP ALM and HP OCTANE
• Create test data, if needed
• Perform Peer Review on test cases, defects
• Execute manual or automated test cases, analyze results and open defects
• Perform Test case capitalization for Regression
• Record test case for import in HP ALM/Octane using the HP SPRINTER tool
• Work with automation tools like HP LEAN-FT, with test automation specialist support, in order to:
o Automate mainframe applications
o Automate (or provide support) web applications
o Automate mobile applications
o Automate API/REST
o Be knowledgeable in creating an extensive range of test scripts
• In Agile projects , perform the Sprint's tests lessons learnt + action plan at retrospective ceremony
• Perform coaching of junior test analysts
