    The Sourcing Director will be responsible for leading a team of sourcing managers and buyers in assisting with creation, implementation, managing and governance of procurement processes, metrics and operations. He/she will work on continued spend analysis and tracking, establishing and driving KPIs, Preferred Supplier Lists together with Category and business partners, running industry benchmarking and ensuring Veeam procurement is aware of/following/setting latest trends. This role will develop and lead process for strong vendor contract negotiations, focusing on business, procurement, financial and risks (i.e. cost, market, industry risks), Supplier Intelligence, and Contract Cost/Price Modeling. This involves financial strength analysis, intelligence/research, pricing analytics, financial modeling, and presentation skills related to highly complex and high dollar contract and/or 3rd party action.



    Responsibilities:



    *

    Managing a team of 8 buyers and sourcing managers


    *

    Drive lean approach to sourcing and procurement across Veeam


    *

    Report success towards KPI's, vendor scorecards and management oversight for business partners


    *

    Assist with the day-today activities of our Source-to-pay and eProcurement solution, Coupa


    *

    Work with category and business leads to establish Preferred Supplier Lists and ongoing supplier relationship management


    *

    Complete ongoing internal and industry benchmarking and ensure Veeam procurement is aware of / following / setting latest trends


    *

    Develop and implement a governance process across the external network of Vendors


    *

    Participate in preparation and management of Veeam Procurement budget


    *

    Build and implement savings plans by category


    *

    Build a process for early engagement and planning; proactively engage with businesses, PMO and finance in strategic business planning so that supplier selection and procurement strategies are articulated early enough to be incorporated into final plan


    *

    Develop and lead process for strong vendor contract negotiations, focusing on procurement, financial and business risks (i.e. cost, market, industry risks), Supplier Intelligence, and Contract Cost/Price Modeling. This involves counterparty financial strength analysis, intelligence/research, pricing analytics, financial modeling, and presentation skills related to highly complex and high dollar contract and/or 3rd party action

    Negotiate new and existing contracts

    May perform other duties as needed to drive organizational success


    *

    Represent Veeam externally as required to deliver the responsibilities of the role








    An ideal candidate would be experienced driving transformations, rolling out new processes and tools, with a good understanding of running a budget, costs and costs savings implications tied to running a budget



    *

    Proven managerial experience in procurement


    *

    Demonstrated executive-level communication, relationship management, and influencing skills


    *

    In-depth understanding of procurement spend management and categories, financial models, costs, and budget


    *

    Demonstrate procurement market awareness, ability to complete supplier and industry research and provide recommendations based on findings


    *

    Proven ability of strategic thinking and leadership experience with an emphasis on relationship management and communication at all levels within an organization


    *

    Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines, create cohesive teams, and respond quickly to management requests


    *

    Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint


    *

    Ability to collaborate and build relationships with other functional areas of the organization, working in a matrixed global environment


    *

    Strong analytical, problem-solving, project managerial and interpersonal skills


    *

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Accounting or Finance
