CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education: Economics or accounting background is a must


Relevant experience:

- minimum 3 years of experience in GL accounting and fiscal areas.
- in accounting (GL)/advanced accounting/controlling/ analysis
- compliance with fiscal rules and regulations
- profiles with experience in Audit companies are also welcomed
- experience in multinational companies, working with different global team

- The candidates has to speak English at a good level of work

- MS Office, Advanced in Excel
- ERP system knowledge (People Soft/Oracle) it is a must

Mission:

Ø Assist the accounting managers with statutory and group accounting.

Ø Handle layout, entry, verification, control, quality and consistency of transactions and accounts within his/her remit.

Ø Ensure these activities comply with Group referential and Romanian legislation and such information is available within prescribed deadlines for preparation of financial statements.

Ø He/she is member of Finance team



Reporting line:

Ø Reports to the statutory accounting manager


Main activities

Ø Prepare, make and record accounting entries in accordance with pre-established deadlines as well as Group and local rules

Ø Check and analyze accounts in accordance with accounting quality standards and make substantiated accounts available to internal customers

Ø Review the fixed assets transactions and fixed assets register recorded and prepared by Global teams in order to ensure the transactions are correctly recorded according to group and statutory rules; collaborate with Global teams in this respect

Ø Prepare all the statistics reports

Ø Prepare tax returns and other statutory tax declarations (as back-up activity)

Ø Support the business with advices in terms of fiscal implication of different transactions, necessary documentation required to support the transaction

Ø Participate in preparing answers to questions from tax authorities

Ø At each audited closing, be capable of explaining all aggregates for which he/she is responsible and defending positions adopted (before accounting managers and auditors)

Ø Validates all deliverables produced by auxiliary accounting

Ø Propose in accordance with Group standards simplifications and improvements serving to optimize the processes he/she deals with

Ø Provide requested information to internal and external auditors.

Ø Contributes to and participates in progress activities

Ø Perform internal controls within her/his remit in accordance with internal controller's instructions and on schedule

Ø Assists with preparation of materials and presentations for the accounting managers

Ø Execute any other tasks requested by the manager in order to realize the short term objectives of the department
