Strong analytical skills – ability to identify data sources and look beyond data to extract business relevant insights
Ability to formulate relevant insights, conclusions and adapt findings to business requirements
Adaptability to working with non-standardized data, non-structured requests and a wide range a custom projects
Good knowledge of economics and finance (Macros, P&L, correlations); Good knowledge of excel functions

Continuously monitor and analyze macroeconomic trends
Monitor and analyze key industry trends as well as the wider external environment and translate trends into business implications for HBT
Create, maintain, and periodically validate market sizes and growth trends; develop top-down / bottom up market analyses
Develop and coordinate various analyses and reports, including market analysis, M&A initiatives, and competitors’ activities
Perform detailed competitive intelligence profiles for selected HBT competitors, both established and emerging; develop implications and recommendations; manage a comprehensive competitive intelligence update
In-depth research on global and local relevant markets analyzing a variety of primary and secondary sources and employing both qualitative and quantitative techniques
Provide strategic insights to internal stakeholders and senior leadership
Evaluate expansion opportunities in core and adjacent markets and assess attractiveness of potential acquisition targets
Track and maintain the M&A pipeline through external research and collaboration with business leaders
Interact with external suppliers on report / data queries; develop relationships with external market research partners
