    Job Description:

    We are looking for an optical engineer for development of automotive HMI instruments. Today information presentation will be getting more and more to display applications and these have to deliver a nearly perfect optical impression of the contents.

    From the idea and illumination concept until the entrance of mass production the optical performance of the systems has to defined, developed and improved by the optical engineer. Together with a project team new and unique solution for the automotive HMI will be created.

    Also, new solutions for future applications with illumination and optics have to be invented and investigated.

    You'll be trained by our optical experts from Romania and Germany to take over next responsibilities:

    * Perform the photometric measurements and simulations for displays, backlight units, instrument clusters, optical characterization of the selected materials (ex: materials for lightguides, diffusers, foils, etc.);
    * Support in the development of the new optical components (concepts);
    * Automotive LED selection and characterization;
    * Contribute to the specifications for components evaluations and tests;
    * Analyze and evaluate optical components robustness (resistance over temperature, aging...etc. and analyze the optical impact in the quality);
    * Contribute to theoretical analysis (analyze the optical parameters of the optical concepts);
    * Create optical measurements and optical simulations reports;
    * Contribute to the selection of the suppliers for the optical components and simulation soft-wares as well as optical measurements instrumentation and data analysis specific soft-wares;
