Senior Accountant - Finance Expert with SAP

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of finance & accounting principles, processes, as well as IFRS knowledge and finance related legislation
• Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level
• Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level
• Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects
• Experience in working in a shared services organisation represents an advantage

• Researches and analyzes finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the department on highly complex key issues
• Performs accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities; prepares monthly reporting packages as well as reporting of financial data based on specific requests e.g. ensures delivery of reports and documents required by internal and external audit
• Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported; measures and evaluates process improvements
• Conducts end-to-end process analysis for implementation of new activities/business requirements
• Proposes technical solutions for accounting information system customizing in order to facilitate analysis, create reports
• Prepares or contributes to the definition of guidelines related to the handled processes / activities within department and Global Solution Finance organization
• Identify actively the potential risks in area of expertise of department and proposes respective solutions for risk mitigation
• Coordinates and prepare internal activities related to department efficiency and performance measurement and reporting (like KPIs, Activity index, etc)
• Coordinate and align with the internal stakeholders the finance discipline topics concerning daily business, respectively correlate business processes with the accounting ones
• Designs and delivers cross functional related to department activity and systems optimization solutions according to changes in business requirements, processes, systems and technology, job roles and department structure
• Implements measures to improve the standardization and optimizations of finance processes within department and Global Solution Finance organization
• Key contributor to initiatives/projects in the areas of Accounts Payable
• Provides specialized finance discipline expertise for a variety of complex tasks and problem resolution within own discipline
