Transport Coordinator

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field;
• Experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of English or French at an advanced level;
• Experience with Microsoft Office Package(Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint), and SAP;
• Organizational skills, solutions orientation.

A typical day might include the following:

• Managing the transports that are carried out, using the trucks to the factories mentioned above from different suppliers, and the return of packaging necessary for the suppliers to ship the parts;
• Creating transport orders in case the supplier has a request to ship extra goods;
• Processing the transport orders (DLS) from the factories in case they need more goods to ensure the production;
• Managing the various problems that occur during the transport of parts;
• Ensuring compliance with the terms of loading and unloading by the carrier, intermediating discussions with carriers and the destination plants.
