Transportation Assistant

In Romania, we deal with the provision of services in our own silos as well as transport with our own pushers, we are one of the largest port operators in Constanța Port on the Black Sea, handling barley, rape, wheat, sunflower seeds and corn, as well as and various other commodities, such as coal and iron ore.

• Education: preferably in transport/engineering, or other related field
• 2+ years of experience in Transportation is an advantage
• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills, with a results focused approach
• Strong communication skills and an excellent team player
• Fluent in English
• General knowledge of software applications
• Strong command of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.), specially Excel

• Checks invoices (Outlook, Excel) – match data with records
• Books freight invoices in the system and sends it for payment (Excel, Sharp contracts, OnBase)
• Draws transport contracts in the system (Excel, Sharp Contracts)
• Invoices penalties when needed
• Keeps communication with transport companies through e-mail
