Essential skills and experience:
• Degree educated or equivalent experience.
• Passionate about the Software or Games QA industry and for the success of our clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Quality focused with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
• Pro-active, tenacious and enthusiastic.
• Competency with MS Word and Excel (or equivalent).
• Loves gaming but understands this role is not about playing games, it is about testing games

Desirable requirements
• Experience in a previous QA role.
• Knowledge and experience of industry-standard bug databases (JIRA, Mantis etc)
• Video games, software or computing-related Degree
• A high level of video gameplay skills in any genre.
• Computer literacy: Database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of Word, Excel, email.
• ISTQB Qualification

Responsibilities to include:
• Identify issues and defects across multiple platforms and environments.
• Create concise and consistent defect reports.
• Communicate with Test Lead through the day highlighting major issues or concerns.
• Executing test passes from plans, as well as ad-hoc and destructive testing.
