    About the Role:

    CrowdStrike is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our growing Cloud

    Engineering Team within the Mobile Product Group. The team focuses on developing cloud services supporting CrowdStrike’s Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Security Solution for mobile devices called Falcon for Mobile.

    Falcon for Mobile is a two-component security product. One component is a “sensor” an application installed on mobile devices that observes system activity and recognizes malicious behavior, unwanted access to sensitive corporate data, high-risk device configurations, unauthorized applications and more. The cloud component aggregates sensor telemetry for each customer’s network, facilitates end to end mobile applications’ analysis, testing and distribution to thousands of mobile devices.

    Our new colleague will work remotely during Covid and then from the Bucharest office (having also the option to work from home) or from Romania (Remote).

    You will:

    • Contribute to the existing  test infrastructure for our cloud services and direct its future development

    • Plan, design, develop, verify, deploy and maintain automated test suites

    • Increase our automated test coverage and improve our release quality and velocity

    • Analyze product, system and feature designs for flaws and improvements

    • Validate and verify the integration of platform systems, services, data and applications

    • Validate and verify customer-facing features, end-to-end, across the product platform

    What you'll use:

    • Python, PyTest framework

    • AWS  (EC2, S3)

    • ElasticSearch

    • MySQL

    • Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker

    • Git

    • Jenkins

    What we require:

    • 3 years of QA and 2 - 3 years of hands-on SDET/ Test Automation Development experience

    • Solid experience in OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, Distributed Systems, etc.

    • Good programming skills: Python or Java, Go, JavaScript

    • Ability to write and automate test cases, and write actionable bug reports

    • Experience working with Web Services: REST or JSON, RPC, XML, GRPC

    • Experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery systems like Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.

    • Productivity: Git, Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub

     Desirable skills:

    • Experience with distributed systems in a production environment

    • Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3) or Azure, GCP

    • Database types: NoSQL

    • Familiarity with any of the following technologies Docker, Kubernetes, Spinnaker
