IBM Internship - SAP Consultant BI (German required)

IBM Client Innovation Center Central & Eastern Europe (CEE) was established in 2012 by joining several centers in Europe. The Delivery Center is part of a global network of 80 similar centers and uses the best IBM methods of work, global processes and techniques. The center has achieved CMMI Level 5 (Capability Maturity Model Integration) and its mission is to provide customers with software solution customized to their global business needs.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

Fresh Graduate or last-year student. Majors preferred (required) are Information Systems, Computer Science or related (technical or IT field)
Theoretical knowledge of Data Warehousing, tables, and structures (star schema, dimensions, master data), Relational Databases knowledge, Database normalization and troubleshooting, Data Modeling
Knowledge of a programming language (SAP ABAP knowledge is considered a plus)
Familiar with one of the following SAP HANA, MS-SQL, MySQL
Proficiency in handling data spreadsheets, data from diferenet source systems
Nice to have: hands on experience using BI reporting tools
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Very good communication skills
Travel availability (if requested)
Willing to learn and become a certified SAP Consultant
English: advanced
German: mandatory (advanced)

Your Role and Responsibilities :
We are looking for interns who will act as SAP Consultants to assist clients in the selection, implementation, analysis and production support of SAP BI application packaged solutions.

Responsibilities:

Analyzes problems, changes, service requests, incident tickets for SAP BI applications
Assists to find and proactively designs a solution to solve tickets
Analyzes client requirements for feasibility, business requirements, business processes, business cases
Development of project blueprints
Implementation of technical solutions according to customer requirements
Implement HANA view Analytical, Attribute and Calculation Views
Develop customized queries / views in SAP HANA.
Development of BI/BW technical specifications (e.g. data model, data flow, necessary objects, query reports, etc).
Data extraction, data modelling, monitoring and reporting
Design and development of analytical reports & dashboards using client requirements


The internship program is on a determined period of 3 months, full time, with possibility to extend to a regular contract on the same role.
