    Job Responsibilities

    Contribute to a strategy for research planning by analyzing current processes, scoping requirements, and looking at solutions
    Contribute to the selection and testing of technologytools to streamline and consolidate the planning of processes across teams
    Support the implementation of a new research planning process. Train users on new processes, systems and tools, including change management and training
    Take ownership of various rating processes, coordinate the work from receipt to job completion across various research teams. Work closely with Research Managers to ensure that research planning is well synced with their own individual sub-team level resource planning
    Schedule research sprints in accordance with SLAs and client commitments, whilst optimizing research efficiency, productiveness and universe health
    Detect issues and delays and apply early intervention to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner
    Maintain planning information, and accurately upload relevant information in management systems. Develop forward looking planning tools to understand capacity constraints and resolve issues proactively.
    Ensure all client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner
    Provide regular reports to demonstrate progress on research sprints
    Be a point of contact for planning enquiries. Liaise with research teams and commercial teams
    Monitor strategy effectiveness and continuously seek improvement

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    1-2 years of relevant experience in planning (preferably blend of corporate and production planning), process improvement, and project management
    Master’s degree
    Demonstrated ability to work independently and under tight timelines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
    Strong written and oral communication skills that allow you to collaborate with stakeholders from multiple teams and at all levels
    Expertise in business process management from ideation to implementation
    Expertise in hands-on development of data-driven business forecasting and resourcing models
    Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to set clear priorities
    Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment
    Strong analytical skills and creative, problem-solving attitude
    Proven experience with change management, with a ‘can do’ attitude and used to operate in an international, dynamic environment
    Demonstrated passion for sustainability

    The Associate Sustainability Research Planner/Scheduler will be part of Sustainalytics’ ESG Research Operations Team which operates within Sustainalytics’ ESG Research Division. The candidate will play a key role, in implementing a research planning strategy with a focus on ESG Ratings. The role will ensure the research teams are able to judiciously run their sprint planning in terms of covering their applicable research universe, while balancing research capacity with research needs and universe health. The successful candidate will adapt to a dynamic business environment through cross-functional and inter-team collaboration, leverage technology to run planning scenarios, apply and improve current planning processes and facilitate optimal achievement of research targets by respective research teams. Strong planning, analytical thinking, project management, communication and interpersonal skills will be required to be successful in this new role.
