    Mandatory Skills Description:

    • Experience in defect management
    • Strong communicator and ability to communicate effectively with business personnel on-site and remote via voice and mail
    • Experience in defect management
    • Experience with Jira, ALM, Octane, and ELVIS
    • Influencing qualities to ensure defects are fixed in a timely manner by the respective teams
    • High level of reliability
    • High responsiveness to high-priority defects
    • Ability to prioritize issues taking into account the impact, severity and the test schedule
    • Ability to challenge stakeholders on fix timelines to avoid any slippage of baseline schedules
    Nice-to-Have Skills:
    • Experience in the Automotive industry
    • Testing within Automotive domain
    • Testing within cloud domain


    • The candidate is expected to take ownership of the defects of a given system. This means to
    o Identify, verify, analyze and log SW-errors and track them throughout the defect life cycle
    o Report on the current SW-quality, maintaining and improving reporting templates and developing KPIs
    o Run a daily defect stand-up
    o Conduct causal analysis and provide recommendations on defect prevention, such as updating the development teams Definition of Done
    o Coordinate with various team to ensure to resolve defects on time
    o Ensure that bug fixing is given sufficient priority in development sprints
    • Possible other tasks
    o Train and Institutionalize Defect Management and Resolution Process
    o Support Developer with automating the basic Defect Management process and workflow (e.g. formal completeness checks, attachment of traces etc.)
    o Customize and optimize defect management tooling
    o Improve the defect management process
    o Align functional requirements with test cases if needed
    o Retest, Regression, Verification and Closure
