Database Admin Job Responsibilities
 

• Build database systems of high availability and quality
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
• Create and manage database reports, visualizations, and dashboards
• Be available for on-call support or working on tickets as needed.

• Three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture or a related field
• Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools and scripting
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery and performance monitoring standards
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
• Strong Understanding of business processes and in Pharma and FMCG industry
• Familiarity with reporting tools/BI (Tableau Software)
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of English Language (Medium)
• MCSE/MCSA certifications is a plus
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is a plus
• Experience with Charisma Enterprise Software is a plus
