Ubisoft Bucharest has been an important pillar for the local gaming industry since, being the first Ubisoft production studio outside France. It has a strong history of contributing to iconic AAA franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs and Just Dance, and has helped develop a total of over 60 games. What you’ll do:

-Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining large scalable distributed applications.
- Prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence.
- Develop and research ideas for Ubisoft IT R&D projects
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior level developers

What you’ll bring as experience:

- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS services
- Extensive experience with API design and implementation (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
- Proficient in C# (.net core) – OOP, data structures, algorithms
- Knowledge of at least one modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Svelt
- Familiarity with AWS and have built apps leveraging its offerings (S3, SNS/SQS, EC2, Kinesis, Cloud Formations, etc.).

Nice to have:

- NodeJS experience
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and cloud services such as Aurora, MSSQL, DynamoDB, Redis
