Accountant (Mid-level)

About the Role

As a General Ledger Accountant you will work closely with the direct manager – local Finance Manager. Your main responsibilities will cover IFRS & STAT ledgers, providing support with tax returns preparation and ensuring data accuracy of accounting records.

What You Will Do

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounting records;
• Bookkeeping of transactions in GL ledger;
• Performs accounts reconciliation, incl. IFRS vs. STAT;
• Ensure compliance of accounting records (timely, accurate and documented) with company’s policy and Romanian Tax and Accounting legislation;
• Participate in month-end close activities;
• Provide support for internal and external audits, incl. tax audits;
• Provide support for preparation of tax and related returns (i.e. VAT, VIES, D394, INTRASTAT);
• Other job related activities;
• Works closely and keeps a very good relationship with SSC HU;
• Support businesses, project teams and finance organization for various tasks that are assigned and resolve daily operational issues;

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Accounting Experience in accounting field,
• minimum 3-4 years;
• Good knowledge of SAP;
• Good knowledge of English language (speaking, listening & writing);
• Very good communication skills;
• Pro-active approach;
• Able to work within a team and independently;
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel)
