Linux/Unix Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• OS administration knowledge: UNIX (Sun Solaris), Linux, Windows;
• Networking basic knowledge; E.g. TCP/IP, REST protocols;
• Scripting and automation experience would be a plus;
• Experience in cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services) would be a plus;
• Fluent English.

About our open position: Linux/Unix Engineer

• As a Linux/Unix Engineer, you will be responsible for administrating complex systems and platforms (such as cloud orchestration, Unix/Linux administration, deploying applications), that contribute to the evolution of Connected Vehicle, Autonomous Vehicle.

A typical day might include the following:

• Working as part of an agile development team, participating in all aspects of the development process and product lifecycle;
• Responsible for administration based on Unix/Linux environments;
• Deploying pipelines experience, and troubleshooting.
