Senior QA Automation Engineer

The company comprises 2 divisions specialized on its core capabilities: ENGINEERING and IT. These two divisions are: ALTEN TECHNO and ALTEN IT.

• 4+ years overall software testing experience;
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with an IT-related concentration (or equivalent diploma/work experience);
• Experience with SQL;
• Hands on experience in using test and defects management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, Xray);
• 1+ years experience in Test Automation;
• Experience with JAVA;
• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle;
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities;
• Experience with Selenium Web Driver for Java;
• Knowledge about BDD (Behavior-driven Development), Cucumber;
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce, SVN;

• Ensuring that testing activities are being conducted in accordance to the testing strategy, plan and team goals;
• Defining or contributing to test effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data;
• Maintaining best practices in specialist area;
• Creating test data, writing and executing of test cases;
• Designing, developing and maintaining test scripts, including automation of the test scripts;
• Actively participating in the development and maintenance of the test case repository;
• Performing test automation executions, identifies failures’ root cause and compiles reports to stakeholders;
• Adheres to testing best practices as defined at organization level;
• Identifying defects based on test execution results, submitting them in the bug tracking tool and tracking them throughout the defect life-cycle;
• Working as part of a team to meet the team goals.
