    Cerinte

    For our client, a distribution company based in Bucharest we are looking for a Buyer. Their biggest specialty is confectionery, but also coffee, energy drinks, detergents, personal hygiene, households. The employee will be responsible for coordinating activities involved with procuring materials, equipment, supplies, and services with the goal of achieving the lowest possible cost of ownership for assigned commodity areas.

    Experience

    1 year of related work experience (experience with identifying prospective suppliers/vendors)
    Required Skills

    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Possesses sound judgment and decision-making skills and the ability to contribute to business-related problem-solving
    Customer focus
    Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
    Demonstrated job flexibility
    Knowledge of negotiation strategies and tactics

    Responsabilitati

    Locate new suppliers and vendors
    Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price availability and delivery schedule
    Negotiates with suppliers from the respective product group for prices, quality and delivery times
    Generate orders and communicate such to suppliers
    Prepare, issue, and review big proposals and negotiate contracts/orders within budgetary limits and scope of authority
    Frequent communications with all parties involved in procurement process (user, supplier, accounting staff, and receiving staff)
