Candidates Profile:
The Professional we are looking should have Bachelor Degree in construction engineering preferably in the field of civil and industrial constructions and/or installations; proven experience as construction engineer and in-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, industrial construction and of construction laws and regulations, experience in the field of bidding (portfolio of important works) and previous experience in preparing for auctions; computer skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD is a plus and should have a good command of English, excellent organizational and time-management skills, good communication and negotiation skills, proactive attitude and analytical spirit.

ROLE of the Construction Bid Engineer, reporting to Technical Director, is to take combined responsibility for ensuring timely and correct responses (technical offers and solutions) to customer enquiries, offers technical counseling for construction purposes and participates in technical negotiations together with company’s Account Managers and on-site supervision and control of a wide range of construction projects in Romania, ensuring all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget. The role will focus on: analysis and preparation of constructions offers/bids in response to request for proposals (RFPs) from customers, but also as proactive pursuits for business, in accordance with company’s objectives and procedures; knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures applicable on-site and overseeing construction processes off - site, ensuring procedures and deliverables so they are completed in a timely and efficient manner; collaboration with different teams of professionals/different disciplines; planning and supervising of a wide range of construction projects in Romania from the start of the process to successful finish of works and turnkey delivery.
