Cerinte
• Food engineering/ chemistry university degree;
• Advanced English;
• Sales experience – in food industry (ideally 3-5 years);
• Strategic thinking and business approach;
• Good negotiation and communication skills;
• Dynamic personality, enthusiastic and energetic;
• Self-driven, ambitious, inner-motivated person;
• Resilience and endurance;
• Loyalty; serious and reliable, trustworthy and responsible nature;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
• Driving license;
• Willing to travel (>50% from the working time).
The main responsibilities are as follows:
• “Farming”: management of the existing customers, key accounting and constant focus in improving the relationship with the existing clients/ customers;
• “Hunting”: acquiring new clients on the food industry, various segments: meat, fish, confectionery, dairy, beverages etc.;
• Promote the products’ portfolio of the company within the food segment; improve the food ingredients portfolio of the company – directly (through the relationship with the potential suppliers) or through the Group Procurement dept.;
• Market analysis and understanding, being informed about the current status of the market and about new tendencies within food industry; integration of the information within the business strategy for food division;
• Develop, improve and implement the strategy for business in her/ his area (food division); respect the agreed strategy (including portfolio mix, price and commercial policy agreed with the Country Manager);
• Field visits, analysis of the clients’ needs and requirements, consultancy selling process, focused on long term partnership;
• Collect and analyze market information, develop market survey and reports and presenting them to the management;
• Reporting activity: reports about field visits, existing and prospective clients, activity reports, sales reports.
Our client is an international company, well known in its area of activity. The company is already operating in the Romanian chemical distribution market and is willing to increase its presence on the food segment. With this scope, we are looking for the right professional for the Sales Engineer – Food division role for completing the Romanian team.

Reporting: to the Country Manager Romania
