IT Architecture Hub Lead

We’re hiring the Hub Site Leadership team first, which will include leads for each IT discipline: Program/Project Management, Business Analysis, Software Engineering/Development, Architecture and Product Management. These discipline lead roles will be a crucial and influential part of the success in standing up their discipline methodologies and ways of working across global teams. The Director, Architecture Bucharest Hub Lead will be part of the Bucharest Tech Hub site leadership team and responsible for driving consistency, expertise and excellence across Architecture discipline. They will manage and facilitate resource allocation of talent in their discipline to programs and projects based on business needs and criteria. They will be responsible for the development of their program/project management employees’ skillsets to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that provide business value to the organization, its customers, and end-users. • 5+ years experience with sAFE software development methodologies and tools including Jira, Confluence, etc.

• 7+ years of experience in an Architect role (Solutions, Enterprise, other), driving design discipline   in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Approaches. Design with a products and platforms mind-set
• Hands-on experience with modern design patterns leveraging Cloud Computing, Microservices, Hyperscale and Mobile-first principles
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building solutions using IaaS, PaaS and SaaS components; the ideal candidate will have some experience with distributed architectures
• Experience defining and executing to reference architectures and implementations; creating detailed design documents including data-flows, integration architectures, conceptual, logical and physical diagrams
• Demonstrated skills with Architectual modelling tools like LucidChart, Vizio, Erwin, etc.
• Proven experience with DevSecOps and CICD deployment of functional code, including concepts of “security by design,” continuous code scanning and reference security architectures
• 2+ years of experience in managing workforce planning/allocation of a team of architects across business initiatives – ensuring right talent in right role, delivery on time and on budget.
• Responsible for examining the current systems architecture and working with business and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems 
• Enterprise Data Platform mindset: building reusable, sustainable, governed data products on a standardized, optimized, available, reliable, consistent, accessible platform
• Expert understanding of Data as a Service concepts including APIs/web services and microservices
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts; hands-on data modeling expertise highly desired (preferably in ERwin)
  • Detailed conceptual and technical understanding of Big Data platforms, Data Lakes, Data Warehousing, their capabilities and applicable use cases and implications for developing data products on these types of platforms
  • Expert in defining semantic layers, metadata to support technical and business teams for development and data consumption
  • Expert in visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Business Objects
  • Strong understanding of Data Science and Machine Learning (ML) concepts and how to operationalize models in a data platform (experience with Azure ML components preferred).
• Has a broad and deep understanding of analytics across a global enterprise across all process areas (Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, R&D etc.); has an in-depth understanding of ELC’s key Systems of Records and data contained within
• Expertise on data in key System of Records such as SAP ERP data, data from POS systems, external consumer marketing data sets, social media data sets, machine-generated manufacturing or IoT data sets.
