Back-end Developer

Key Activities

• Build and provide maintenance support for applications
• Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps
• Provide basic design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate the development
• Designs, develop, and distribute reusable technical components
• Assist in developing technical documentation; participate in test-plan development, integration, and deployment
• Define and develop project requirements, functional specifications, and detailed designs of application solutions
• Participate in a culture of excellence & delivery
• Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps
• Deliver on goals, projects, and features
• Provides basic design documents and translates into component-level designs to accelerate the development
• Designs, develops, and distributes reusable technical components
• Develop system design maps and lead walkthroughs

• Help create product visions, roadmaps, and feature priorities
• Drive diverse thinking and problem solving
• Working knowledge of Agile scrum
• Define and set standards and help build an engineering-driven culture
• Experience in cloud design, development, and operations
• An understanding of the SDLC, and a track record of shipping software on time
• Knowledge of software engineering and best practices for the full software life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Use of agile processes and methodologies

• Experience with programming languages like Python, .NET, C#, C++, Swift, PHP, Java, JavaScript
• CI/CD automation 
• Demonstrated ability to participate in technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs and ensure alignment to strategic technology vision
• Strong innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with enterprise IT systems and environments (cloud, networking, capacity planning, operations)
• Demonstrated past experience with designing or working with highly available and reliable systems including work on technical design, defining SLAs, KPIs for tracking and improving software reliability
• A history of successfully building applications and working in agile processes
• History of delivering solutions consistently and working in complex large projects
• Demonstrated ability and curiosity to pursue vision and direction to deliver on projects
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment with many moving parts and a large variety of responsibilities including geographical diversity of technical functions
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a flexible and fast-paced environment, including the ability to think big in a rapidly evolving technology space. Ability to successfully handle ambiguity.
