AREA SALES MANAGERS (CRAIOVA, CONSTANTA)
opening for a professional experienced in sales FMCG industry, located in Craiova or Constanta, for one of our clients, one of Europe's largest coffee distributors.
The main role of the ASM, reporting to Sales Director is to ensure that the Distributors are covering the Traditional Trade market as efficiently as possible. The ASM will work closely with the distributors and will go in the field with their Sales Representative, also having the role of training and developing them. What the ASM will have to do is scan the market and identify other distribution points (stores) where they are not present, negotiate the entries there and then communicate to to the distributors where to deliver the products and continue developing the relationship with those stores.
The Area Sales Managers we are looking should have minimum 5 years of previous experience in sales with successful track record in FMCG, covering same geographical areas (Oltenia / Dobrogea) and holding a technical University degree ideally in economics, Technical background preferred.
Proven successful experience in coordinating a sales team in FMCG environment as Sales Supervisor or Area Sales Manager, knowledge and experience of the traditional trade channel commercial approach, trends, processes, and procedures are required. Experience in multinational companies and English knowledge will be a plus.
Since the role covers South-West of Romania (Dolj, Gorj, Olt, Valcea, Mehedinti), or South-East of Romania (Constanta, Calarasi, Tulcea, Braila, Ialomita, Galati), the candidate’s profile should be oriented to field work (80% field, 20% administration) with availability for extensive travelling (4 days/week).

• Responsible to achieve sales targets (volume/value per volume potential TT stores, LKA chains TT) within the assigned area by effective and efficient usage of the allocated resources
• Analyzing and understanding periodically the regional market dynamics as well as the direct implications in the sales and trade marketing activities
• Reach the customer number target per TT
• Proposes new and innovative actions to build and develop business in the area
• Indirect Management of Distributor’s local Sales Representatives and Merchandisers
