    Requirements

    The Trainee Program is a rotational development program designed to provide participants with deep organizational awareness and operational expertise.
    The full rotational program will last 12 months. Participants will be required to complete 4 rotations, in turn in Trade, Execution, Logistics and Finance departments.
    Each program participant will have a technical coach (department head or senior specialist). The technical coach’s role is to guide them through technical aspects of their work.

    Responsibilities

    • Learn and respect the allocated tasks (focus on contracting, partners, support to controllers and accounting team)
    • Ensure the appropriate actions to obtain all necessary information & documents for achieving the allocated tasks, correct and timely input in the system according to internal rules and templates
    • Preparation and issuance of commercial contracts and addendums, in accordance with the internal confirmations received, respecting the internal guidelines
    • Daily monitoring of allocated activity and appropriate reporting
    • Perform checks and markings in the system, as per internal procedures and authority provided
    • General revision for trading contracts, correct use of freight, warehousing and all other related costs
    • Communicating in timely manner to internal and external counterparts and do follow-ups
    • Archiving and related documentation
    • Acting as support function for other operational departments (Trading, Execution, Finance) whenever needed and within given authority level in the team
    • Running statistical reports for analysis of information on contracts and financial data, upon request
    • Answer queries from colleagues or external parties in a professional manner, reply or forward them as necessary
    • Management of confidentiality regarding documents
    • Assist colleagues with a variety of administrative tasks related to contracts, invoices, input data in systems (SAP, Sharp), when needed
    • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information in the system
    • Provide improvement opportunities in internal processes, coordinated with business developments or internal processes changes
    • Ensure compliance with COFCO established policies & procedures
    • Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
    • Perform any other duties required by manager and situation, related to business needs

    Other info

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field
    • Prior experience in financial administration or in another relevant administrative role involving attention to details, with financial documents/data and working in teams
    • Consistent, professional approach
    • Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems is considered as an advantage
    • Working knowledge of office equipment
    • Good organizational and time management skills
    • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
    • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
    • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Fluency in English
    • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
