Job Description:

We are looking for someone who is creative and passionate about communication, engagement, and experience. As an Internal Communications Specialist, you will be a trusted advisor to our team and will develop an internal communication strategy. If you view employees as the company’s heart and most important asset, and if you are always looking for exciting ways to reach your colleagues, this role is right for you. You will be the one that makes sure our colleagues have access to key messages and that the MassMutual Romania team and capabilities are well known in the parent company. Your challenge will be to create and sustain bonds between colleagues in a virtual environment, with the particularity of having new team that has worked remotely from the start of the company.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical company or corporation.

Outstanding fluency in written and spoken English.

Passion for writing and for grammar proficiency.

Experience with a wide range of digital communication tools and channels.

Experienced in managing social media corporate accounts, and creating content tailored to the specifics of the social channel.

Proven ability to create and compile content of technical nature, specific to the IT field.

Strong corporate communications and public relations writing style.

Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with stakeholders of all levels.

Good planning and organizational skills.

Strong emphasis on collaboration, proactive, flexible, can-do attitude.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.

Open to new challenges and embraces change as it comes.

Proficient MS Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Requirements:

Create and deliver internal messages to employees in a clear, timely and effective manner.

Manage the company’s intranet page – create specific content for our local presence that reflects MassMutual Romania’s activity and capabilities. Collaborate to create content specific to the IT field and develop messages with the help of our technical team.

Create specific communications action plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that support the communication of internal messages helping shape culture and drive engagement.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate employee communications content into overall company goals and messaging.

Support the development of an employee communications strategy and execution of the strategy.

Write, edit, produce, and proof communications for internal audiences (presentations, scripts, briefing documents, intranet articles, and employee communications, messages, emails, and newsletters)

Review and edit communications drafted by internal stakeholders and make recommendations to ensure messaging is consistent with internal strategy and tone.

Support social media communications to deliver a strong employee value proposition.

Collaborate and support employer branding efforts.
