Mandatory Skills Description:

Minimum 7 years database administration experience.
Minimum 2 years PL/SQL experience.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Ability to write scripts in Python or Linux Shell for administrative or automation tasks.
Excellent communication skills - able to work with remote teams across cultures and fostering trust and collaboration.
Language Skills - fluent in spoken and written English.
B.S/M.S. in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with DB2 or another enterprise DB.
Experience with administration and maintenance of Linux.
Experience in software development.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Knowledge of the KVM hypervisor and OpenStack technologies.
Knowledge of Security.
Experience with Middleware.

Project Description:

Development and maintenance of a suite of web applications used to analyze field diagnostic data

Responsibilities:

Database security.
Database optimization.
Planning and development of the database.
Issue troubleshooting.
Act as a subject matter expert for proposed architectural design.
Write infrastructure related code when needed (Perl, Python, Linux Shell)
