JOB REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or similar studies;
•At least 5 years working experience in automotive industry or test laboratory is preferred;
•Know-how and experience in electrical and mechanical measurement systems, simulation, test and validation;
•Knowledge in measurement automation (e.g. LabWindowsCVI and / or LabView);
•Experience in environmental testing;
•Experience in statistical data analysis;
•Good knowledge in using CAD, simulation and calculation software tools;
•You are proactive, self-motivated and a team player;
•Available for international travel;


Core Capabilities:
•Very good knowledge of environmental testing;
•Very good knowledge of electrical, mechanical and environmental measurement systems;
•Fluent spoken and written English language;


Preferred Qualifications:
•Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or similar studies;
•Experience in environmental testing preferred;
•Ability to apply design / development tools as required;
•Automotive engineering experience a plus;

We are looking for a Hardware Engineer that would work on various state-of-the-art products for hybrid/full electric vehicles of the future. He/She would be part of an international team and would have the following responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:
•Develops Test concepts for environmental test under consideration of automotive norms (LV124);
•Ensures compliance to customer specification;
•Calculates reliability and confidence levels by using state-of-the-arts tools and models (e.g. Coffin Manson);
•Designs and develops test systems for different purposes with focus on environmental testing;
•Performs measurement system analysis (MSA) incl. statistical evaluation of testing equipment;
•Supports qualification-test activities onside of Laboratory (DV/PV);
•Ensures scheduling of test activities;



Additional Responsibilities:
•Supports the definition of complex electrical and mechanical designs of test equipment;
•Supports and documents design meetings;
•Ensures that the test design meets requirements, works with the project lead and / or customer to make sure requirements are totally understood;
•Successfully communicates appropriate project information to cross-functional teams and management;
•Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems;
•Supports quotation activities for potential new projects;
