    Requirements

    Mandatory Skills and Abilities:

    • 3+ years of experience in a similar role (solid track record in operations management, consulting, modern logistics or business development);
    • This job requires strategic planning, but it also requires a lot of hands-on doing. You’ll get to both make the analysis and execute on it.
    • Have a data-driven analytical mindset (great Excel skills). Ability to turn loads of data and numbers into meaningful and digestible stories;
    • You’re able to navigate complex business data and make critical decisions, then check on the results and refine your actions going forward;
    • Be a hustler, not stopping after 20 obstacles a day;
    • Amazing negotiation and communication skills;
    • Be passionate about new technologies and business;
    • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or other analytical subject;
    • It’s crucial you enjoy being a part of this kind of startup-within-a-startup team while leading your own bits of the operation;
    • Good English and local communication language skills.

    Responsibilities

    As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for the courier partner operation, which means you are responsible for every order to be delivered successfully. This requires both leadership and analytical skills, getting your hands dirty and working well together with your Chief Operating Officer. As delivery is a big part of the operations, you will also have a substantial impact and responsibility for customer experience level and P&L.

    Position Summary:

    • Lead the delivery operations team;
    • Develop strategic business partnerships with various external clients (eg: automotive companies, HR companies, logistics companies, rent companies, etc.);
    • Continuously improve customer satisfaction and delivery efficiency;
    • Measure on a daily basis the performance (real time KPIs);
    • Create and improve business processes that drive the operation towards efficiency and profitability, while allowing the business to scale;
    • Make sound and critical business decisions based on the vast amount of data provided by our platforms and reports;
    • Lead the expansion into new cities in strong cooperation with the commercial team;
    • Manage onboarding, training, and maintaining a healthy community of thousands of motivated and happy courier partners;
    • Manage own fleet and improve efficiency;
    • Design and execute strategies to increase driver's engagement and loyalty while reducing churn rate;
    • Figure out the logistics of how many drivers are needed where and when;
    • Manage the payments of our courier partners and commercial contracts agreements;
    • Manage the claims from customers and partners;
    • Review customers, riders and restaurants behavior in order to identify fraud patterns and find solutions to mitigate them;
    • Monitor existing restaurants preparation time: solve most time-sensitive operational issues;
    • Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Legal, Commercial, Marketing, to develop and execute key initiatives;
    • Work with the product team to articulate and prioritize features developed in BI and platforms;
    • Have close interaction legal authorities;
    • Identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities;
    • Build ad-hoc reports and present them in a way that is easy to understand for both technical and nontechnical colleagues;
    • Solve problems by analyzing and deriving insights from large, complex sets of data;
    • Develop a competitive and motivating system for own team.
