Project Manager for SMB Product Romania team in Hosting

About the team

1&1 SMB Product Romania's mission is to make having an online presence accessible for any busy SMB owner, by building an ecosystem of do-it-yourself services, spanning from website builder to online marketing, that our customers can use to be successful online. As a Project Manager in SMB Product Romania your primary responsibility is to ensure your project’s success from start to end, and ultimately enable workflows and features that will allow customers to build their dream on the web. You will have the opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary Product Development team, instilling a sense of urgency and structure in the team’s development lifecycle.

Main responsibilities:

• Be the catalyst that ensures your project’s success from the beginning to the end;
• Plan & manage the project scope working closely with Management, Product Owners, Architects and stakeholders;
• Plan the project work and schedule;
• Ensure the team delivers on time by applying various project management methodologies;
• Plan and manage communication within the team and with stakeholders;
• Identify & manage project risks;
• Effectively communicate across functional areas and to executive management on project progress, issues and risks;
• Establish a business partnership with external teams, partners and stakeholders;
• Manage your own time and successfully work unsupervised while keeping team collaboration alive;
• Be available for occasional travel to Germany (post-pandemic);

• Excellent communication & leadership skills
• At least 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager in software development
• Very good understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle
• Very good understanding of Agile project management methods, processes and standards
• Excellent English skills (speak, write, read)
• Experience in using project management tools & office software
