Front-End Developer (for PULSE project - Transportation Business)

We build software applications that allow trains to safely and securely bring passengers to their destination. These applications have high availability requirements, so they are not allowed to stall or randomly crash.
Our application engineering team is re-designing the entire Traffic Management System, from a monolithic architecture to micro-services running in the cloud.
If you are passionate, you want to work with the latest technologies and you have a relevant experience with UI development in Angular, we would like to invite you to be part of our team as a front-end Angular developer.
We are now just at the start of the project so there will be discussions related to technology alternatives, and we will tackle both the back-end (Java 1.8 and Spring) and front-end (Polymer) topics.
As part of our team, your responsibilities will include:
· designing/prototyping a new application;
· writing unit tests;
· writing documentation;
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Bucharest / Stuttgart / Lisbon / Madrid / Quebec.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or similar degree;
• Strong UI development expertise;
• Good understanding of software architecture and design;
• Git, Gerrit, Maven;
• Advanced level of written and spoken English.
