Know-How:

• Good working knowledge of electronic circuitry, electronic laboratory equipment, soldering techniques and general electronics;
• Good technical analysis skills and a structured way of working;

Personality:

• Efficient work style with very good coordination skills;
• Ability to work independently and handle tasks flexibly;
• Target, process and quality orientation;
• Good communication and cooperative skills;

Languages spoken:

• Knowledge of basic to intermediate English language is required;
• Knowledge of German language is an advantage;

Nice to have:

• Experience performing failure analysis on field-returned electronics is an advantage.

What you do:

• Perform electrical failure analysis of electronic control units (ECUs) according to instructions and standards;
• Reproduce and analyze failures in order to identify and understand root cause;
• Improve and adapt methods of analysis as required by new products/technologies;
• Create and follow up a product specific database for different types of failure modes, identifying similarities differences within similar work packages;
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members when required;
• Create, document and send relevant data points and reports, as per requirements;
