System Test Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- University degree (e.g. Computer Science, Electronics, Automatics, Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering)
- 2 or more years of relevant professional experience is required
- analytical and solution-oriented person with high attention to details
- Experience with HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) simulators and test automation
- Programming language Python
- Modelling in Matlab / Simulink
- Knowledge in dSPACE toolchain (ConfigurationDesk, ControlDesk, AutomationDesk), Vector toolchain (CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe) and requirements tools (DOORS, SYNECT) is an advantage
- Experience in using laboratory equipment and measurement devices (bench power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators etc.)
- Reading and understanding an electrical schematic
- Good to have: experience with ISO26262 standard and ISTQB certification / education
- Passion for working in an international team with different customers
- Fluent in spoken and written English language

JOB DESCRIPTION

Validate the system functionality or functionality of software products, according to the specific requirements or specifications by defining, developing, adapting and / or using manual or automated tests within a predefined project plan considering processes, procedures and testing quality standards.

- develop, review and maintain test specifications for functionalities of low to high complexity
- perform tests and ensure traceability according to given requirements and specifications
- automation (using internal tools or other programming languages) of manual tests
- technical analysis of critical problems in his/ her area of expertise
- discuss the test results with the development teams
- define the test environment according to the project needs
- participate in development of the test environment
- ensure the testing equipment availability for the test team, including the test equipment for test automation
- provide input to Team Leader / Group Leader for planning the needed equipment
