Eastern Europe Fire Prevention Specialist

More than 3 years’ experience in fire prevention, construction engineering or similar (job related experience);
Comprehensive knowledge of fire prevention;
Basic knowledge of fire-fighting;
Experience in the application of VdS and NFPA regulations;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
Language skills: English - CEFR level B2 (optionally: German, Spanish, Chinese).

Technical supervision of local fire prevention officers at Hella locations in Eastern Europe;
Plan and execute fire safety audits at all Hella Group locations worldwide;
Prepare and carry out inspections with property insurers and insurance brokers;
Collect measures from various audit reports (own, property insurers, external auditors) and drawing up action plans;
Follow-up of audit reports/action plans for fire protection and coordination of remedial action;
Plan the equipment that will give companies comprehensive fire-fighting installations, etc.;
Participate in the developing of fire protection concepts and fire protection regulations for the Hella Group, coordinated with current legal provisions and minimum standards, as well as implementation and/or initiation of the implementation of resulting measures;
Further development of standards, control of these standards;
Participate in the planning of fire protection measures during the construction and reconstruction of buildings and facilities;
Check building permits and fire protection concepts for the derivation of fire protection measures;
Participate in hazard assessments (risk analysis) and derivation of necessary fire protection measures;
Schools, informing and raising the awareness of local fire safety officers, employees and managers about fire safety and fire prevention measures;
Perform administrative work for the cataloguing and evaluation of an international fire protection register.
