Your day to day:

The Security Automation Specialist will support the overall Security Patching and Vulnerability
Management programs inside Group Data Centre organization by focusing on two main areas: automation
of patching activities and automation of vulnerability remediation. The role will imply mainly working with
BMC BladeLogic Server Automation platform.
This role will contribute to developing APIs, automation mechanisms, testing mechanisms on
multiple platforms while supporting operational teams acting as a SPOC for each business function.
This role is also accountable for scripting, operating, maintaining & updating (add/change/delete)
global Quality Assurance application tests cases for the test execution. This role will need to review on a
regular basis the results of QA and analyze re-occurring defects and will contribute and drive the
Continual Service Improvement of the overall Quality Assurance process.

In general, this role will support the following areas:

 Implementation of automated patching mechanism (BladeLogic server automation)
 Integration of server automation tool with Security Tool
 Contribute to the data gathering and development of internal security tool (WSUS,
BladeLogic, ADDM)
 Scripting, maintaining & automation of test scripts for QA platform (Perl, Powershell, VB Script)
 Support Security Incident Management
 Support Operational Compliance with reports
 Contribute to the PULS (Patching Uplift Security) & GOVMP (Global Operations Vulnerabilities
Management Program) programs

 Automation of patching and vulnerability
Contribute to the implementation of automated patching and vulnerability mechanism by using
BladeLogic automation platform and act as a SPOC for these Business Functions
 Internal tools development
Develop APIs and interfaces to collect data from different data sources
 Test Scripts development
Implement various test criteria using scripting/programming languages
 Operational Life Cycle activities
Implement various test criteria and provide reports of the activities performed

With these skills you are a great candidate:

 Strong practical Windows-based systems administration skills
 Windows patching knowledge
 Good knowledge of BMC Bladelogic Server Automation Suite (Compliance & Reporting)
 Technical knowledge in Operating Systems administration (Unix/Linux), network protocols
and middleware
 Experience in Stand-Alone / Clusters, Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS), Cluster Administrator,
Active directory servicesservers, Hardware installation concept of RAID, Storage concept
 Extensive knowledge of shell scripting skills (e.g , powershell, VBScript, powercli, bash,
Perl)
 Good knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Active Directory, WSUS
 Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking
 Well-developed understanding of IT Operations and IT Cloud Computing with an emphasis on
vulnerability assessment, security patching and hardening
 Technical knowledge in network security, operating system security, application-layer security
 Strong quality focused mind-set and practical experience (e.g. ITIL Quality Lifecycle model)
 Fluent English (minimum level required: B2)
 Adapt level of communication to various stakeholders
Desirable competencies, knowledge and experience:
 Good knowledge of Oracle Database, RMAN, RAC
 Good knowledge of SQL databases
 ITILv3 Service management
 Experience on using Remedy
 Putting customers first
 Reliable: resilient, takes personal responsibility
 Strong problem solving troubleshooting, analytical skills promoting out of the box thinking
