PLANT PROJECT MANAGER

TARGET Executive Search was founded in 1994 and today has offices in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.

• University degree in a technical field;
• Minimum three years of experience in project management in automotive industry;
• Demonstrated knowledge of automotive quality standards: IATF, VDA;
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality instruments: FMEA, Ishikawa, PPAP, 8D, CC/SC, customer specific requirements;
• Advanced command of English language/intermediate level of German language is an advantage;
• Problem solving and analytical thinking skills;
• Demonstrated negotiation skills;
• Ability to coordinate an analysis team.

• Develops the project, along with the project core-team, from the planning phase and up to the handover phase, in close collaboration with the department managers;
• Organizes and coordinates the project team, tasks and responsibilities based on the standard rules and guidelines;-Represents the customer interests inside the plant and organizes run & rate audits/other customer required visits;
• Ensures a constant overview of all relevant issues regarding the project’s maturity during the product and process development;
• Oversees the PEP processes & tollgates for a timely and accurate fulfilment;
• Ensures the timely implementation of any project relevant corrective action;
• Monitors and reports specific KPIs;
• Plans and coordinates the relevant project resources, such as machine, material, manpower and method availability to achieve on time delivery of the required quantity and quality for the specific project phase;
• Responsible for achieving the project budget by constantly monitoring the project costs;
• Supports budgeting processes with the HQ departments involved;
• Supports purchasing and sourcing processes, including supplier selection and make or buy decisions;
• Initiates improvement actions for a smooth and efficient project management.
