Cost estimator (construction - infrastructure)

We are recruiting a Cost Estimator for one of our clients, a top construction and infrastructure company.

Requirements:

• 3/5 years of experience in complex large infrastructure construction sites
• 2/4 years of cost analysis and/or control experience
• Degree in Engineering or a Land Surveyor Diploma or equivalent
• Good knowledge of cost control and job accounting techniques
• Excellent knowledge of the Office package, particularly of Excel
• Knowledge of tools for costs analysis (i.e. Candy, BIM Works etc.)
• Excellent English knowledge, both written and spoken
• Excellent analytical and synthetical skills

Estimator Job Duties:

• Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes direct costs by analyzing labor, material, machinery and time requirements.
• Computes indirect costs.
• Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
