DevOps Engineer for BIG DATA solution of Metro Group
Supporting Data Discovery, Data Science and Analysis with the right Data Lake layer
Passionate about BIG DATA concepts, technologies
Knowledgeable about architectural designs in the Big Data world
Experienced in Cloud technologies. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is a plus
Having strong technical skills and the ability to respond quickly to technical issues or challenges
Strongly experienced in Python, familiarity with SQL
Experience with source control systems (Git)
Knowledge of monitoring and alerting strategies for production environments e.g.
Knowledge of continuous integration & deployment tools e.g. Jenkins, Gradle, Maven
Successful track record in building CI/CD pipelines and production of Data Analytics / Science applications
Good understanding of Unit Tests, Functional Tests, Integration Tests
Good understanding of application containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration and scheduling (e.g. Google Composer, Apache Airflow)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experienced and self-motivated professional with the ability to work in a dynamic and rewarding environment
Having an agile mindset to work in a scrum team
A focus on customer service/satisfaction with strong interpersonal skills and responsiveness
Ability to build strong working relationships and work within a global, remote workforce
Advanced English language speaker

Develop, deploy and operate internal data lake and analytics components to support the digital transformation of our products
