Tendering Engineer

Graduate of the Faculty of Construction (Civil Construction Specialization);
Similar experience for at least 3 years;
Specific knowledge regarding the execution process of construction and finishing works;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);
Experience in using the Auto CAD application is an advantage;
Knowledge of currency preparation program (Spring) is an advantage;
English-advanced is an advantage;
Ability to effectively track and control several issues simultaneously;
Ability to work simultaneously on several projects;
Very good capacity for planning, organization, and synthesis;
Very good communication skills and teamwork;
Involvement, determination, eagerness to evolve.

We are recruiting a Tendering Engineer for our client, a Romanian constructions company focused on interior design works (drywall partitions, ceilings, drywall ceilings, screeds, masonry, painting, mechanized plasters, thermo-systems, ceilings, leveling compound).


Responsibilities:

Studying the documentation submitted by the beneficiary (request for offer, project, specifications, etc.);
Establishing the strategy for preparing the tender presentation documentation, taking into account the requirements submitted by the beneficiary and the company's policy, for preparing the offers;
Preparation of technical-economic offers, according to the specifications, for the execution of construction and architecture works;
Extracting the lists of quantities from the plans in order to prepare the offers (performs pre-measurements);
Sending to the beneficiary the addresses of the request for clarification regarding the works/ projects to be offered;
Identification of the main materials and equipment that are part of the offer, technical characteristics/quantities, etc .;
Preparation of tender requests for materials, equipment, and works in the subcontractor and their comparison with internally prepared tenders;
Analyzing, selecting, and negotiating the offers received for materials, equipment, and works;
Realization of execution schedules, price analyses, cash flow together with the Project Manager;
Framing the estimated items and their quantities in specialized programs;
Collaborating with the commercial department to introduce in the offer the best prices of materials and equipment;
Participating in the detailing of the technical annexes of the signed contracts and provides technical support for the designation of specialized subcontractors;
Provides specialized technical support to site managers for the works offered;
Preparing the execution budgets together with the Project Manager;
Collaborating with all company departments to carry out the bidding activity.
