Grid Connection Manager

• Knowledge of the process for the connection to the grid of a wind/solar/hydro power plant in Romania

• Management of grid connection agreements for a power plant

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in management of grid connection process for renewable power plants

Mission: works into the "Authorization and Grid Connection Management" unit inside the Project Execution unit of the Engineering and Construction, Enel Green Power. With the main task of supporting the Project Leader and Project Managers during the execution of power plant projects for renewable energy (wind, solar, hydro, geo) for authorizations and permits relative to the construction of the grid connection for renewable power plants, through the application of best practices in project management.


What you will do:

• Cross-functional support and cooperation between Business Development (i.e due diligence, etc.) and Engineering & Construction Units during the execution phase of Renewable Projects for authorization and permits for grid connection, applying project management best practices.

• To ensure a detailed and complete knowledge of the local legislation and regulations in terms of grid connection, in order to produce guidelines and tools for planning, organizing, executing and controlling the related project activities.

• To manage the grid connection agreement/permits during the execution phase of the power plants, also participating at meetings with Authorities (if required)

• To support the Project Teams performing risk analysis and defining preventive/corrective actions to be taken with reference to grid connection, in order to keep the projects on schedule;

• Planning of execution activities based on timing need to obtain the minor permits necessary for Start of Construction and grid connection

• To issue periodical reports/slides in order to monitor and control the activities related to grid connection status of different projects;

• To perform periodical meeting to monitor requirements and share requirements traceability matrix with support team or project team (highlighting the most critical activities), in particular PM, PE, planner, etc.

• Follow-up of Grid Connection process (Responsible of all the exchanges of communication with DSO/TSO)

• Continuous alignment with Energy Management unit about the grid connection procedure progress

• To share best practices and lessons learned about grid connection of Power Plants within the Company, locally and worldwide.

• To travel locally and abroad when necessary.
