Electronic Standard Component Management Engineer

Overview: In this role you are responsible for the selection and release of electronical standard components that are used within all mechatronic Huf-products.

  Key Activities

• Definition and coordination of the Electronic Standard Component Management within the Huf Group;
• Selection and release of electronical standard components providers (incl. second source) to be used with respect to technical data/parameters, norms, regulations;
• Close cooperation with product engineering regarding the usage of electronical components as well as supporting and checking of the relevant departments regarding the selection;
• Support on Risk Management: Investigation and rating of Product Change Notification (PCN), Product Discontinued Notification (PDN) and Norm as well as Standard changes;
• Permanent observation of the electronic provider market;
• Support on trainings for the relevant departments regarding the usage and operation of electronic-standard-component-management system.

• University Degree (i.e. Electrical engineer) or similar qualification;
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position or with a similar background;
• Several years of professional experience in automotive requirements, regulations, norms and standards (e.g. AECQ;
• ASIL; ISO26262, RoHS, IPC) as well as a broad overview of electronical components and providers;
• Experience in PDM and ERP Systems (e.g. Silicon Expert technologies, SAP, IFS, BAAN);
• Team player with an open minded attitude;
• Strong communicator both written and verbal in English and native language;
• Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects.
