IT - Finance Business Partner

What does the role involve?

You are responsible for implementing local and global finance projects. You are business savvy and trusted partner to the finance business functions. You have a broad experience in various Finance process areas and your competence and motivation help to achieve outstanding results. You drive and shape the finance digital transformation at Garrett. You proactively participate and drive the selection of new solutions, considering IT internal policies, business requirements and cost. You are in charge of managing third party vendors and their performance.



Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Managing finance projects in a global context
- Ensure cross functional integration of the Finance process in all business areas
- Demonstrate solid understanding of critical business requirements, recommending process improvements and IT solutions that provide competitive advantage.
- Assure IT solutions deployed in the business remain compliant and are continuously improved to drive better business results.

- Solid project management expertise in a global organization matrix setup
- Good business process understanding in finance and controlling in the context of a globally operating enterprise is a plus;
- Deep functional SAP expertise in one of the following areas: General Ledger, Tax, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable; knowledge of additional - SAP financial modules is beneficial;
- BS / BA in Information Technology; Computer Science, Accounting or Business Process Management;
