Thales Romania also works with Thales Global Services, in particular with Thales Corporate Engineering, which is providing tools and methods for all the engineers of the group. 
The development will be performed in close co-operation with experts in Thales Romania & Thales France and requires regular travelling between these locations. 
 
Job summary: 
Cognitive Services is an umbrella term for several techniques related to Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge management and data mining. At Thales Corporate Engineering, we explore the use of such techniques to improve efficiency of our engineering workbenches.

Required competencies/experience: 

Must have competencies are in bold: 

General competencies o Algorithmic:

• Algorithmic: Solid experience with complex algorithms hard on memory consumption / computing resources. 
• Knowledge of industrial best practices to produce reliable code.
• Education/Experience in data-science is a plus but not mandatory if experience with complex algorithmics can be demonstrated. 

Languages 

• Python 3 
• HTML/CSS/JavaScript (React)
• REST API
• Shell

Frameworks 

• API : Flask-restful 
• UI: React 
• Python scientific libraries: Numpy, Scipy, Sciki-learn, Gensim would be a plus 

Build 

• Python virtualenv, poetry 

Search & databases 

• Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana...) would be a plus
• Graph-oriented DB (either OrientDB, JanusGraph, Neo4J) would be a plus 

Test/Coverage/Quality Analysis

• For python code: PyTest, MyPy / Flake8 and Coverage 
• For react code: ESLint, Jest or React Testing Library 

AAA (authentication, authorization, audit) 

• Basic authentication schemes 
• OAuth and SAML would be a plus

Source code management + continuous integration + continuous deployment 

• GitLab + GitLab CI
• Docker, Docker-compose
• JFrog Artifactory
