As part of the new journey, 2Checkout (now Verifone) is growing the talented tech team in Bucharest where it will create an R&D excellence center.

Almost 100 jobs will be open in the following months to work on top-notch payments like: integrating alternative payment methods, payments authentication, mobile POS application, payment gateway solutions, android platform for payment devices and others.

The new colleagues will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies for solutions used in more than 150 markets in which Verifone operates. They will also contribute to the development of ultra-innovative payment solutions and integrated ecosystems used in all global sales channels, both online and offline, many of which do not currently exist in Romania. This is a collaborative and fast paced work environment, where people work with real time problems, that make a big impact in the industry.

You are:
• Passionate about marketing and technology, curious, fast learner
• Upbeat, have a proactive attitude, enthusiastic
• Innately creative, resourceful
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills

You have:
• Proficiency in English
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team
• Enjoy both strategic projects as well as rolling up your sleeves
• Bonus points: HTML knowledge, Search Engine Optimization, Content writing

You will:

• Support various activities within Marketing Department: SEO, content marketing, influencer marketing, social media, reputation management, etc.
• Provide creative and out of the box insights
• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends.
• Update website and blog using content management systems
• Support on-page and off-page Search Engine Optimization strategy
• Support influencer marketing projects and help expand brand reach, increase awareness, build & consolidate relationships
• Contribute to content creation (blog articles, social media banners, infographics, videos etc.)
• Daily curate and monitor brand mentions
• Track, analyze, and interpret key performance metrics to maximize efficiency
