Accountant / Senior Accountant

Our client is a full-service law firm with more than 10 years of expertise on Romanian market, member of all the relevant professional bodies & organizations.

• BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree;
• Good knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures;
• 3 -5 years for Accountant / 5+ years for Senior Accountant of relevant working experience in a similar position;
• Fluency in English;
• High level of integrity and responsibility;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Organized, Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Manage all accounting transactions;
• Publish financial statements in time;
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable;
• Ensure timely bank payments;
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns;
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements;
• Audit financial transactions and documents;
• Comply with financial policies and regulations;
• Payroll, calculating salaries, updating payroll systems with employee information, and preparing internal and external tax reports etc.
