    Cerinte

    Requirements:

    University degree, preferably in Marketing, Economics or similar;
    Knowledge and minimum 5 years experience in retail buying or product management;
    Category knowledge: distribution channels, products, margins;
    Confident, ambitious, a self-starter, with the ability to operate in a dynamic environment;
    Communication, presentation and negotiation skills
    Highly organized, analytical, task focused;
    Uses creative thought process - on product, promotions, displays, deals etc.
    Able to work across multicultural environments;
    Very good command of English;
    Advanced MS Office user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    Responsabilitati

    What will you do in our team?

    Define portfolio of brands / strategic alliances for Fresh & Ultra-fresh Food / Dry food/ Drinks/ Non-food category;
    Coordinate the team of the category you are responsible for;
    Negotiate contracts with suppliers who meet the company’s requirements to secure the most favorable terms of business for the company including marketing COOP funds;
    Keep all contracts for the supply of goods and services under review to ensure that they are being carried out effectively and renegotiate terms where necessary;
    Maintain an awareness of any developments in the eld of central purchasing or with suppliers to ensure that the company continues to apply the most effective policies and procedures;
    Act as the company’s adviser on all matters relating to the purchasing function;
    Approve suppliers and products;
    Review the overall merchandise acquisition plan based on the sales budget / forecast;
    Plan and manage performance of inventory and suppliers;
    Evaluate performance of the category and monitors market changes to identify new opportunities as well as changes to our existing offering;
    Identify any new merchandise to improve assortment and to maintain their competitiveness in the market;
    Forecast sales and develop an assortment plan;
    Work closely with the stock team to ensure all promotions and new lines are delivered on time;
    Analyze product positioning in the market and makes decisions accordingly;
    Analyze sales reports, orders, clients’ demands and acts accordingly to meet and exceed sales targets;
    Establish base and promotional prices, implement promotions;
    Build up strong relationships with suppliers to deliver effective and profitable plans.
