Qualifications & experience:
• University degree in Agriculture (with focus on crop management)
• English language reading, writing, and speaking skills at a professional level.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the industry or distribution
• Proven experience in technical marketing in the industry or distribution, e.g. experienced in Technical Marketing of Plant Protection/ Agriculture market inputs
• Good market knowledge and understanding of Crop Protection/Agriculture market inputs
Management of the product portfolio
• Analysis of the product portfolio for the entire product lifecycle, per customer target/segment/ region/each crop
• Analysing the opportunity of introducing new product in the market or excluding existing products, in order to implement the right product portfolio per segment/region/crop
• Recommending the price positioning of the existing & the new exclusive products in the market Develop product portfolio business analysis reports
• Develop, implement & prepare competition reports and recommend future actions regarding the portfolio based on the outcome of internal reports & market research reports: targeted market segments & crops
• Analysis and identification of market and customer needs as well as product requirements in the Romanian market
Technical marketing roll out strategy
• Develop, implement and support the right product- and marketing roll out strategy
• Develop and communicate the plan for new product launching
• Develop and communicate a go to market plan for new products: customer target/ segment/crop
• Develop strategies how we can market for different existing products
Training & People Management
• Preparing and organising technical trainings for internal sales force, in respect of crop & products
• Preparing and organising technical trainings and product presentations for farmers
• Preparing product presentations for other internal meetings
• Identifying and communicating technical arguments to support sales for targeted products /farmers
• Management & coaching direct reports: crop/ technical product managers
Sales Support
• Develop the product positioning, marketing message and technical sales arguments for the target customers (develop the storylines)
• Analysis, develop, implement sales distribution channels
• Part of the team designing tailor-made portfolios - package solutions, recommendations crop by crop covering all relevant suppliers, design of the “core portfolio”
• Participating to the development of the commercial policy
• Submitting supporting tools for Sales Team (Trial Results, Promotion Materials,)
Technical Support
• Preparing and organising field trials for exclusive products portfolio
• Providing technical consultancy to the customers
• Managing the complaints/ requests coming from the farmers
