Essential experience, skills and knowledge:
At least 3 years’ experience in Finance (Planning & Reporting or Financial Accounting), preferably into a shared service or FMCG.
Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP/BPC/BI and communication tools (PowerPoint)
Experience in analysing reports, identifying issues and challenging stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills and ability to look beyond the numbers to identify trends and insights
Rational decision making and problem-solving ability is needed
Experience of identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement
Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format
Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
Proficiency in English
The role is responsible for supporting financial reporting for Group Senior Management. The successful candidate will be closely monitoring financial reporting, sourcing data from different finance systems and ensuring automated and standardized reporting. The position requires strong ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Reports to: Senior Corporate Finance Manager
What you will be accountable for:
Provide regularly support to the Project team and business readiness team with project monitoring and preparing reports for management review
Develop training materials for internal teams
Perform and sign off user acceptance tests
Support the Finance community in the planning and reporting exercises and perform global reporting related activities as stated in our governance. Work in close collaboration with the Global, Regional and Business Units teams to ensure successful delivery of planning and reporting processes.
Identify opportunities to simplify the planning and reporting processes and drive efficiencies analysing most frequent queries/issues raised to the Support Team
Remediate various issues found during the planning and reporting cycles (including master data and transactional data), meeting the deadlines with the least impact on financials accuracy. Communicate as appropriate
Perform user acceptance tests for new functionalities, bugs remediation, etc.
Identify, assess and drive efficiency improvements for the overall reporting process
