    Requirements:

    University degree;
    Minimum 1 year of strong administrative and/or Human Resources experience;
    Previous payroll processing experience preferable but not mandatory;
    Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word;
    Strong organizational and administrative skills required;
    Always keen to learn;
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
    Exceptional attention to detail;
    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks;
    Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
    Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
    Fluency in English.

    Responsabilitati

    Main Responsibilities:

    Assist the Line Manager to process the monthly payroll for all company employees accurately and in a timely manner, providing assistance in all tasks as assigned;
    Enter payroll data into digital systems to keep all payroll files up to date;
    Maintain daily staffing sheets showing hours worked for all employees;
    Gather timesheets, capture time worked, and draft pay checks before employees are compensated;
    Entering start and end times onto the payroll software;
    Capturing approved annual and sick leave;
    Preparing and distributing hard copy or electronic pay checks;
    Performing all tasks well before the pay run to ensure that staff members are compensated and notified on time;
    Deal with employee salary and payroll queries in the absence of the Payroll Manager;
    Assist with reporting from payroll in line with HR and business requirements;
    Chase line managers for missing information as required;
    Process all new starters and leavers including production of employment contracts, induction packs, reference requests, company handbooks, leaver letters and holiday payments;
    Process all paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts;
    Create and maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving of leavers and cleansing of information held in line with the Data Protection Act;
    Create and maintain up to date folders for all employee benefit information;
    Support the administration of annual pay review, employee survey and HR statistics;
    Maintain the HR Database including sick absence reporting;
    Support the Line Manager with all additional HR administration requirements;
    Any other duties as required by the business.
