Technical Writer

• Higher education within English, Journalism or Communication, FILS preferred
• A minimum of 2-year experience in writing/editing technical documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat. Experience with FrameMaker and Visio is a
plus
• Experience with SDL Knowledge Center is a plus
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset in a multisite project development environment
• Ability to assimilate and convey technical material in a concise and effective manner
• Ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage many projects from a variety of sources
• Very good organizing skills, able to correctly evaluate tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, quickly, thoroughly and accurately, following all departmental standards, style, formatting,
archival and procedural rules
• Ability to handle multiple projects and resolve issues/conflicts effectively
• Continuously look for new ways to improve documentation; attention to details

The technical writer will support new product development, delivering high-quality documentation. They are playing a key-role in translating the technical information into easily-understandable language. Job duties include: professional editing for Data Sheets, User’s Guides, Application Notes, Errata, Product briefs, Programming specifications or Technical briefs, according to our internal technical documentation process.

Job Description
• Provide desktop publishing of technical publications for memory engineering projects
• Accurately edit, proof, format and publish technical documentation
• Interface with internal customers on development of technical literature
• Maintain and deliver the required documentation in accordance with the project schedule, within tight deadlines
• Coordinate and support document control, distribution and the website posting process
